Peggy Juanita (Keith) Huffman Mills

Peggy Juanita (Keith) Huffman Mills, 94, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. She was blessed in many ways, living a long and fulfilled life.

She was born on February 17, 1928, in Smithtown, Kentucky, to C.L. and Rosetta (Wright) Keith. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husbands, Max Huffman and Raymond Mills; grandson, Nick Woods; and siblings, Paul, Orville, Willard, Ann, Georgia, Leena, Violet, Pauline, and Edna.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Connie Schroeder (Bill) and Peggy Woods (Carl); stepchildren, Samuel Mills (Julie), Diana Gilstrap (Mark), and Fhonda Miller (Mark); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Woods Cemetery in Otisco.
