Peggy D. Dambros

Peggy D. Dambros, born on January 18, 1937, in Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Peggy was a devoted member of SpiritLife Church of God in Louisville, where she dedicated an impressive 70 years of her life, nurturing her faith and fostering a sense of community. Her unwavering commitment to her church and its activities reflected her character, and she engaged wholeheartedly with those around her, leaving a lasting impact on many members of the congregation.

She is survived by her loving children, Danny Dambros (Lois) and Jacqulin Dever (William), who carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. Peggy was also a proud grandmother to Daniel Dambros and Austin Dever and she loved being a great-grandmother to Aria Dever and River Dever. Peggy shared treasured moments and created lasting memories with her grandchildren that will resonate throughout the family for generations to come. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her siblings, Walter and Doug Wilson, who cherished their connection with her.

Peggy Dambros was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jackie C. Dambros. The bond they shared was evident in the lives they built together, and her cherished memories of him remain in the hearts of her family.

Visitation for Peggy will take place at SpiritLife Church, located at 6901 Outer Loop, Louisville, Kentucky 40219, on August 19, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location at 6:00 PM. She will be laid to rest privately next to her husband at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
