Peggy Sue Cox

Peggy Sue Cox, 64, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

She was born on November 8, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lafe Moody and Mary Thompson Diebold. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Lynn Moody; and sister, Shirley Hazelwood.

Peggy is survived by her children, Charles Cox Jr., Christopher (Carrie) Cox, Chad Cox, Jazzmyne Ford, and Mackenzie (Keevin) Berry; siblings, Ray (Marlene) Diebold, Buck Diebold and Frank Rose; and 10 grandchildren that she loved and adored, especially her "boo boo".

She was a dedicated Louisville Cardinal, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana Pacers fan. Peggy loved watching and attending games as well as discussing and moderating several sports groups online.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in accordance with Peggy's wishes.

Memorial Contributions in Peggy's memory can be made to the funeral home or to Christopher Cox to assist in payment for funeral services.
