Pecola Davis, age 87 formerly of Rowland, North Carolina and currently of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Davis, Sr.; parents, Margaret C. Ford and Mack Fladger; brother, Lawrence "Buddy" Fladger; and sons, Shaffer and John Lewis Bowen.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her siblings, Shirley Smith (John),Gladys Mclean of Rowland, NC., Elouise McCormick (Benny) of Lumberton , NC.; her children, Wenetta "Renee" King (Talfred) of Louisville, KY, Wayne Riles Davis of Charleston, SC. and Barbara Ann Bowens of Trenton, NJ.; step-children, Dr. Shirley Joan Davis Jones and Sylvia Jean Davis Cutts; her grandchildren, Trinity, Jaden and Justine King of Louisville, KY., Melissa and Marquis Bowens of Trenton, NJ., Lacey Baldwin (Chambrey) of Charlotte, NC., Shaffer Bowen, Jr. of Texas, Michael Cutts, Tanya Hall-Davis, Warren Davis, III, Susan Jones Johnson and Sande Jones, Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Darrien and Danielle Baldwin of Charlott, NC.
Pecola will be laid to rest by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm via Zoom.
