Pearline Meade Allen

July 2, 1925 — June 9, 2021

Pearline Meade Allen, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Wednesday June 9, 2021.

She was born on July 2, 1925 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to Richard and Nellie (Byrd) Meade. She was a retired Dietician for Frazier Rehabilitation Center and a member of King Solomon Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas A. Allen; 5 brothers, Will, Richard, Chester, Oscar & Percy Lee. Pearline is survived by her 5 children; daughter, Mildred (Larry) Willingham, son, Stephen Terrell, daughter, Arlisa (Perry) Clemons, daughter, Audrey Spence, son, Thomas Allen, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, Tamara, Cynthia, Tarita, Briana, Tiondra, Jamilla, Stephen, Derek, Angela, Tyson, Raymond, Victor, Amber & Brandon; 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a Funeral Ceremony at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).

The family requests that contributions in Pearline's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
