Pearl Latrice Anthony, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. Pearl loved life, she had a smile that could brighten a room and she never met a stranger. She was very creative, outgoing, and courageous person. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her choices of occupations included traveling and care giving. She was a character in life and knew how to create a memory that would last forever. She will be forever loved and missed by all.
She was born on April 16, 1941 in New York, New York to Ben and Sallie (White) Forester. She is preceded in death by her father, Ben Forester, mother, Sallie Ruth White, and son, Harold White.
Pearl is survived by her loving family, children, Yolanda Oliver and Eli "Lamont" Qudamah; grandchildren, Antwan Watkins, Shawnethia White, Kevin White, Morgan White, Whitney Woods, Chandra Rodreguize, Troy Woods, Taylor Jones, Dominique Woods, Gabriel White, Angel Foster, and Alexandria Mendina; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Jennifer Britt, and Sandra Frances. As well as a host of cousins, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Home Going Service will be at 12:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.
