Pauline Turner Jenkins of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 19, 2015, at Norton Woman's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Pauline was born on January 18, 1962, in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Wilbert and Lillie Turner.
The first and most important thing in Pauline's life was serving her Lord, Jesus Christ for over 35 years. Pauline was a member of the Highview Church of God in Louisville, Kentucky. During her walk with God, she served as church clerk, taught Sunday school, and was a youth leader and prayer warrior with many people throughout her life.
Pauline's occupation for over 20 years was a balance clerk and a work coordinator for PNC Bank of Louisville, Kentucky.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents as well as her mother-in-law, Martha Jenkins, two brothers, Joe and Kenneth Turner, and two sisters, Ruth Brock and Debra Ann Turner.
Pauline is survived by her loving and caring husband of over 26 years, Raymond Jenkins, Jr., father-in-law, Raymond Sr., two brothers, Reverend, Ned Turner (Hyden,KY), Johnnie Turner (Richmond, VA), brother-in-law, Ron Jenkins (Louisville, KY), three sisters, Magdaline Whicker (North Vernon, IN), Nora Fugate (Hazard, KY), Martha Caudill (Kirby)(Pikeville, KY), Sister-in-laws, Virginia Turner, Sue Turner, Trish Phillip (Mike), and Sue Petoskey(Mike), and by her special friend and visiting minister, Pam Tolle.
Pauline was truly loved by 22 nieces, and nephews, 27 great-nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Pauline will be truly be missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Billy Silverman.
