Pauline G. Burns, 80, of Bardstown, KY passed away at her home on December 12, 2017. She was born in Pulaski County on March 31, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Flora Rector Godby and her husband, Ernest Staples, Sr.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Vernon Burns, son, Ernest Staples, Jr. of Utica, KY; daughters, Vicki Stevens of Stanford, KY, Rita Chaharlang, of Farmington, New Mexico and Stacey Staples of Utica, KY; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon Godby and sister, Vernel Osbourne.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 11am-6pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Pauline's life will be Monday, December 18, 2017 beginning at 10am at the chapel of the funeral home.
A graveside service will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove School Road, Lewisburg, KY beginning at 1PM (CST).
