Paulette Kinser, born April 23, 1948, passed away on October 12, 2026.
Paulette will be remembered as one of the best people you could ever meet. She never met a stranger, and her sociable nature made it easy for others to feel welcome in her presence. She found joy in simple, generous acts of care, especially feeding the squirrels and birds from her backyard and looking after any stray cats around the neighborhood. She also enjoyed visits to the casino and playing bingo, pastimes that brought her fun and companionship over the years.
She retired from Dynacraft after 15 years of dedicated work. Among the great joys of her life was enjoying life with her best friend and husband of 47 years, Thomas Kinser, a bond that stood at the heart of her proudest accomplishments.
Paulette is survived by her husband, Thomas Kinser; her daughter, Michelle Sullivan; her step-daughters, Patricia (Glyn) Thompson, Amanda (John) Cottom, Stacy Stanton; her granddaughters, Paige Buckman, Jasmin (Lucas) Bohl, and Sarah Lee; her great-grandchildren, Liam, Ellianna, and Sebastian as well as her brother, William (Tee) Aikin. She leaves behind a family who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude, and who will remember the warmth, kindness, and easy friendship she shared so freely.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Aikin; her father, Paul Richards; her brother, Roy Richards; and her cousins, Greg Walters and Barbara Walters.
Visitation will be held on October 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
Paulette’s life was marked by kindness, companionship, and a genuine love for people and animals alike. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
