Paula "Gail" (Robinette) Sparrow, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was a hard worker and talented seamstress and enjoyed her tasks at Nu Yale Cleaners. Gail liked to karaoke and play bingo. She was also a great cook that was known for her peanut butter fudge, biscuits and gravy, and green pepper and onion burgers. Gail was an avid coffee drinker with her daughter and an animal lover with a deep love for her pets Spanky, Layla, Peaches, and Mr. Blue.
She was born on September 7, 1954, in Brandenburg, Kentucky to the late Ike Robinette & Mary Irene (Waddel) Robinette. Gail was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Joe Robinette; sister, Marie Taylor; and beloved dog, Whitey Lee. Gail is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Robinette (Tonya); grandsons, Corey Robinette and Devon Davis; and significant other, Todd Ford.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation will follow according to Gail's wishes.
