Paula A. Heuglin (Eisner), 70, entered into glory on July 7, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. A lifelong resident and devoted member of Fellowship of the Way Church, Paula's faith and dedication shone brightly throughout her life. For over 60 years, she was an integral part of the community, sharing her love of music in the Southwest Community Choir for more than a decade.
Her professional journey at Humana spanned 33 years, where she retired as a respected supervisor. Paula's generous spirit extended beyond her career; she passionately supported and volunteered with organizations such as Exodus Family Ministries, Right to Life, and Alley Cat. Her compassion for others was evident in her commitment to helping those in need and serving God with devotion.
Born on November 15, 1955, to Ollie and Betty Eisner in Louisville, Paula cherished her family deeply. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years and together over 40 years, Robert "Bob" Heuglin, and children Michael (Dawn), Jeffery, and Kristie Lehman (Keith). Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Jordan (Kylie), Ashton (Brooke), Brielle, Braden, Hannah Parker (Mark), Jake, Jack, Jason, and Joseph Lehman, along with her great-grandchildren Kinley, Dove, Audrey, and Emma.
Paula was predeceased by her parents Betty Diersing, Ollie Eisner, and Elmer Diersing as well as her in-laws Joe and Ann. She leaves behind cherished memories with her sister Karen and brother Jeff, alongside numerous family members and friends whose lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 pm. In memory of Paula’s compassionate heart, donations may be made to Exodus Family Ministries, 2020 Garrs Lane, Louisville, KY 40216.
