August 16, 1943 — November 5, 2016

Paul "Pappy" Gordon Wilson, 73, of Portland, KY passed away on November 5, 2016. He retired from West-End supermarket, was a faithful member of West End General Baptist Church and a devoted and proud resident of Portland, KY.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Anna Wilson; daughter, Donna Faye Wilson; son, Leon Smith; sister, Penny Ann Shacklette; parents, Clarence and Lorena Wilson; son-in-law, Walter Bohannon, Jr. and brother-in-law, Leo Clark.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Dottie Bohannon, daughter-in-law, Pam Smith; step-sons, Kenny (Linda) Smith and Gilbert (Debbie) Smith; sisters, Wanda Clark, Gale Devine and Zenda McNalley; grandchildren, Joanna "Jodie" Bohannon, Stephanie Bowles, Steven Smith and Troy Smith; great-grandchildren, Victoria "Tori", Michael, Zachary, Kaylee, Hannah, Cameron, Aubree, Bella, Braden, Ethan and Abigail; great-great grandchildren, Caleb and Makinley Annamarie

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 12pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY). A celebration of Paul's life will be Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 12pm.

Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
