Paul "Tommy" Thomas Martin, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025.

He was born on May 26, 1936 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Paul and Clarice (Bowles) Martin. He is also preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Barbara (Chapman) Martin, sister Jean Martin Cooke and nephew, Randy Cooke.

Tommy served in the U.S. Marine Corp before graduating from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce. He was employed as the Senior Sales Rep for 33 years with United Guarantee Mortgage Insurance Company (AIG) and was a member of the President's Club. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church most of his adult life and a member of Stewart Sunday School Class. Most of all Tommy was a loving Dad, Pawpaw and brought joy to many with his cookie deliveries and Meals on Wheels in Lexington.

Tommy is survived by his loving children, Wendi Martin (Vince Jones), George Curtis Martin (Tami); grandchildren, Claire Marie Martin (Dan), Grace Amelia Ladd (Nathan), Amanda Lewis, Allison Tucker (David); great-grandson, River Lewis; nieces, Marti Cooke, Judy Cooke and Laura Susan Aubrey. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, George Chapman (Janette).

Per Tommy's wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date in Lexington, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Tommy’s memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
