Paul Dean Stewart

Paul Dean Stewart, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025.

He was born on May 30, 1938 in Stewart, Kentucky to the late Alvis and Ida (Elswick) Stewart. He also is preceded in death by his brothers Leon and Fonso Stewart.

Paul was a native of Vergie, Kentucky and lived most of his life in Columbus, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. He was a person who could fix almost anything and was a great help to those lucky enough to know him. His career was spent in the chemical industry and he was a big UK basketball fan.

Paul is survived by his loving significant other of 36 years, Eileen Carpenter Mahoney, daughter, Lisa Kelley Patrick (Steve), sons, Jon Kerry Stewart (Amy), Paul Eric Stewart, granddaughter, Grace Stewart and sister, Angel Damron (Dean).

Paul will be laid to rest privately at Cave Hill Cemetery.
