Paul Johnston Ross III, born on November 18, 1980, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 22, 2026.

A proud alumnus of the Christian Academy of Louisville, Paul showcased his athletic prowess by playing high school football, a testament to his competitive spirit. His dedication to sports transcended his school years, as he remained an avid sports enthusiast, always eager to engage in spirited discussions about the latest games and sports news. Paul had a deep affection for animals, particularly his beloved dog, Ranger. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of fishing and exploring nature, where he found both peace and adventure.

His family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Bliss; his father, Paul "Jack" (Kathleen) Ross Jr.; his brother, Daniel (Kara) Ross; his nephew, Cole Ross; and his niece, Ava Ross. Paul also cherished the bond he shared with his cousin, Nicole (Brian) Beeler, and their children, Sierra and Adam Beeler.

Paul Johnston Ross III will be remembered for his enthusiasm for life, the joy he brought to conversations, and the deep love he held for those around him. His presence will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Cremation was chosen following Paul's wishes and he will be laid to rest privately at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
