Paul Nolan Rainbolt, Jr.

Paul Nolan Rainbolt, Jr., 77, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was a 1960 graduate of Providence High School and retired from Colgate Palmolive after 35 years of employment. Paul was a lifetime member of the K of C Cardinal Ritter Council #1221. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, fishing and playing golf. Paul also liked horse racing, as well as watching IU basketball and Notre Dame football.
He was born on December 22, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana to Elizabeth (Garvin) Rainbolt and the late Paul Rainbolt, Sr. Paul was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara (Pfeffer) Rainbolt; and brother, Jack Rainbolt.
Along with his mother, Paul is survived by his children, Chris Rainbolt (Barbra), Susan Jeffries (Kendell), Mark Rainbolt (Shaunna Graf), Beth Ann Roberts (Ray Eastridge); brother, James "Mike" Rainbolt (Barbara); grandchildren, Kevin Perkins (Rachel), Adam Rainbolt (Shelby), BreeAnn Rainbolt, Brittany Keithley (Garrett), Jacob Roberts, William Rainbolt, Zion Graf; great-grandchildren, Blayne Perkins, Gabe Perkins, Sidney Yeager, Kayden Crawford, Addilyn Rainbolt and Graceyn Keithley.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Bradford (11400 Farmers Lane NE, Greenville) with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
