Paul V. Moberly, Jr., 70, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on March 13, 2017. He recently retired from Altec in Jeffersonville after 46 years of service. Paul loved to golf, fish, and was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. The most important thing in his life, however, was his family and the time spent with them.

He was born on September 20, 1946 in Broadhead, Kentucky to the late Paul, Sr. and Dessie (Bishop) Moberly. Paul was also preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie, Larry, Roger, and Jeffrey.

Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra (Fetz) Moberly; children, Sherry Moberly, Paul Moberly III, Jonathan Moberly (Lori), Daniel Moberly; siblings, Terry, Ricky, Steve, George, Tim, Norma, Brenda, Sheila, Tammy, Lisa; 9 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 11 AM. His Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 1 PM in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Court, Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223).
