Paul W. Hamby, Sr., 69, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

He was born on March 21, 1950, in Kayjay, Kentucky, to the late Herschel and Sarah (Sears) Hamby. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Bentley, Bobby Hamby, Donna Bentley, Roger Hamby, Ruby Ramey, and Joann Bray.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda Hamby; sons, Paul (Madeline) Hamby, Jr., and Bobby (Dawn) Hamby; siblings, Herschel "Pete" (Karen) Hamby, Emma (Charles) West, Jimmy (Susan) Hamby, Peggy (Denver) Scalf, Glen (Doris) Hamby, and Donnie (Maureen) Hamby; grandchildren, Carl (Wendy) Brown, Kayla (Matthew) Bobo, Jakob Hamby, Matthew Hamby, and Lucas Hamby; great-grandchildren, Ayden Bobo, Phoenix Bobo, Emberlynn Bobo, Seraphina Bobo, and Aybel Brown.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
