Patty Joyce Davis

Patty Joyce Davis, age 84 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025.  Patty was born on October 19, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Walter William and Mary Lee Cunningham Douglas.  Patty attended Ahrens High Trade School and met Don Brown, whom she married. They had three children. In her early adulthood she was a devoted wife and mother. She later became a bookkeeper, a job she enjoyed until retirement. Patty enjoyed sewing and gardening, volunteering with her neighborhood association and, most of all, spending time with her grandson.  

Patty is survived by two children, Roger and Karen Brown; grandson Tucker, daughter-in-law Sandra; and niece and nephew, Tracy Yurt and Bryon Douglas. 

Patty was preceded in death by husband, Robert Davis; and daughter, Maria Palmer.

Visitation will be 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, November 2, 2025 and also from 9am to 11am on Monday, November 3rd at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  A celebration of the life and legacy of Patty will be 11am on Monday, November 3rd at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Chenoweth Run Cemetery.
