Patsy Ann (Puckett) Meighen
May 30, 1936 — April 30, 2018
Patsy Ann (Puckett) Meighen was 81 when God called home his good and faithful servant on April 30, 2018.
She worked for Hospice and God used her to comfort the families and souls of patients passing from this world into the next.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, John C. and Rose Puckett; one child, Brenda Sue Wheeler; her husband of 30 years, Dennis Meighen; her brothers, Charles and Johnny Puckett and Frankie and Kenny Bunch and her sisters, Peggy Logsdon, Bessie Hutcheson and Mary Ashbaugh. She was recently proceeded in death by Leonard Faulkner, the love of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Dr. Carol Hall, Karen Wheeler and Marilyn Collins (Larry); three grandchildren, John Paul Haynes, Thomas Hall, and Jenna Hall and one great-grandchild, Madalyn Haynes; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Visitation will also be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Hike's Point Christian Church. Her funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hikes Point Christian Church (2601 Hikes Lane, Louisville, KY 40218) with private family burial to follow.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus or Saint Jude's Hospital.
