Patrick Andrew Sarles, born on August 24, 1963, in Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on October 8, 2025, in Otisco, Indiana. He was 62 years old, a devoted husband, who cherished his friends and family.

Patrick's journey through life was marked by his unwavering dedication to both his profession and his homelife. He worked diligently for over 27 years as a Courier for FedEx, beginning his career there in 1998. His passion for his job was evident, as he took great pride in ensuring his clients received their medication and packages on time. His commitment to exceptional service earned him honors for good driving, reflecting his integrity and reliability, for which his coworkers and clients loved him.

A proud graduate of Clarksville High School in 1981, Patrick furthered his education at Marion College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 1985. This educational foundation served him throughout his life, shaping his work ethic and dedication to his family and friends.

Patrick's personality shone brightly, characterized by his honesty, straightforwardness, compassion, creativity, and hard work. His love for those he cared for, was deep and unwavering, exemplified by his proudest accomplishment—taking care of those he cherished.

In pursuit of a fulfilling life, Patrick moved to California, where he thrived for over 20 years. In 2015, he returned to Indiana and took delight in purchasing 13 acres of land, pouring his heart into caring for his property. It was in 2018 that he met the love of his life, Marne Rene Massey-Sarles, and they married in 2020, embarking on a beautiful journey together, living on their cherished land.

Patrick's spirit extended beyond his work; he was a devoted fur-parent to his beloved pets, Olive and Leonard, who brought him endless joy. His love for these animals was a testament to his nurturing and compassionate nature.

He is survived by his wife, Marne; his sister, Denise Fitzpatrick; his brother, Christopher Fitzpatrick; his nephew, Benjamin Fitzpatrick; and his nieces, Megan Bergquist and Brady Yocom. Additionally, by his grand-nephews, Grant Bergquist and Felix Fitzpatrick, and grandniece, Molly Bergquist. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Edith Karen Rogers (McBride), many loving friends and family.

Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Fitzpatrick Sarles, and his father, Jerrell Lee Sarles.

As we say goodbye to Patrick, we commemorate a life rich in vibrant complexity, which he expressed through his passion for nature, art, music, and animals. His legacy will endure through the warm memories and stories shared by family and friends.
