Patrick Joseph "Pat" Parker, 85, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away at his home on Sunday morning, November 17, 2019. He was a 1953 graduate of New Albany High School and a United States Marine Corps veteran. Pat retired from Brown & Williamson after 36 years of employment.
He was born on February 4, 1934 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Carl and Suzie (Heitz) Parker. Pat was also preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Carl, Bill and Herman.
Pat is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Beverly (Leuthart) Parker; daughters, Lisa Cox (Tom), Hilary Wheatley (Jeff), Kira Frankenfeld (Mark); sister, Mary Lee Thompson; grandchildren, Parker Cox, Conner Wheatley, Keenan Wheatley, Charlee Frankenfeld, Bella Frankenfeld; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs) with his funeral mass being celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Contributions in Pat's memory may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in care of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
