Patrick R. Matthis, 73, passed away on July 14, 2015. He was an avid, fisherman and enjoyed bowling. His hobbies included, painting, building birdhouses and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Sharon Matthis; son, Kevin (LeeAnn) Matthis; daughter, Kimberly (Doug) Bennett; grandchildren, Nicholas, Kailey, Kamdon, George, Trent and Clark; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 5pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) and Friday, July 17, 2015, from 12pm-2pm with a celebration of Patrick's life beginning at 2pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
