Patrick Henehan

Patrick “Pat” Henehan, 82, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on July 2, 2026. He was born on October 3, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward M. and Margaret (Bethel) Henehan. Pat grew up in Greenville, Indiana and graduated from New Albany High School. He attended Purdue University, served in the United States Air Force, and worked for over 36 years at Philip Morris as a Mechanical Instructor. He had a great love of antiques and collectibles, especially classic Chevy cars and trucks. He enjoyed working on his vehicles, attending street rod shows, and collecting memorabilia. His collection was impressive enough to draw the interest of Antiques Roadshow. He also had great pride in his Irish heritage and remained a lifetime devotee to his Catholic faith.

Pat is survived by his daughter Stacie Bale (Brandon) and granddaughter Leyna Bale; his brothers Edward “Sonny” Henehan and Terry Henehan; his sister Mary Henehan; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He also shared many years and countless adventures with his partner in life, Cathy Harris.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany). A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (1752Scheller Ln, New Albany), followed by burial at 12:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be provided to Gary Sinise Foundation.
