Patrick Robert Galligan

Patrick Robert Galligan, 80, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on October 16, 2017. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany.

Patrick was born on January 24, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Urban W. and Louise F. (Pfeffer) Galligan.

Patrick is survived by his children, Louis C. Galligan (Betty), Elizabeth Anne Galligan (Mark Jelenchick), and Diane M. Galligan (Edward Conklin); grandchildren, Peter, Patrick, David, and Jake Galligan; brother, William Galligan (Sylvia); and his former wife and the mother of his children, Karen K. (Zeller) Galligan.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Albany Building Fund (415 East Eighth Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150) and St. Xavier High School (1609 Poplar Level Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40217).
