Patricia "Patty" Ann Wilson, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
She was born on October 13, 1940 in Stone, Kentucky to late Richard and Virginia (Burke) Akers. She is also preceded in death by her sister Teresa Walters.
Patty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Doug Wilson, brother, Bobby Akers (Irene), sister, Doris Coleman (Tom), sister-in-law, Peggy Dambros (Jack), brother-in-law, Walter Wilson and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time service at 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Spirit Life Church of God (6901 Outer Loop Louisville, KY 40228). Burial will be held privately at Resthaven Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Patty's memory be made to Spirit Life Church of God.
The family would like extend a special Thank You to Jackie and Nicole with Hosparus Healthcare.
