Patricia Watson (Sinex) passed away unexpectedly in New Albany on June 24, 2026, just days before her 64th birthday. Born on July 2, 1962, in New Albany, Patricia spent her entire life closely connected to the community where she began her journey.
Patricia’s warmth, kindness, and steadfast spirit touched many lives throughout her years. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a friend whose dedication to family was unwavering. Patricia’s memory will be lovingly cherished by her sons, Eric Watson and Erin Watson. Her family also includes her sisters Betty McMillin, James McMillin, Linda Lee, Tony Lee, Mary Gaines, and Matt Gaines, as well as her brother Michael Sinex and her sister Paula Sinex. Their shared memories and enduring bond bear witness to Patricia’s deeply held commitment to family ties.
Patricia is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Katherine Sinex, her father, Ivan Sinex, her brother Frank Sinex, and her sister Kathy Sinex. Their legacies live on in the strength and character Patricia modeled for those around her.
Throughout her life, Patricia was recognized not only for her devotion to her loved ones but also for her unwavering resolve and gentle, encouraging nature. In each chapter of her life, Patricia demonstrated her ability to bring people together, fostering harmony and support within her circle.
Patty’s kindness touched countless lives, and she loved Jesus Christ with her whole heart. While we’ll miss her every day, we find peace in His promise:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms… I am going there to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:1–3.
