Patricia Mae “Trish" Roberts, age 78, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born on August 5, 1947, in Louisville to Thomas Patrick Aloysius Finegan and Helen Louise Tullius Finegan. Trish was raised with a strong appreciation for family and tradition. She attended Bloom Elementary School, Highland Middle School, and graduated from Atherton High School before continuing her education at the University of Louisville.
Trish pursued a fulfilling career in interior decorating, accessorizing, and flower arrangement. Her keen eye for beauty and detail allowed her to transform spaces into warm, inviting homes. Her talent was recognized when her home was featured on the house tour for the Project Guild of Oldham County.
A devoted wife and mother, Trish is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gene Roberts; children, Sam Purdy (Dee Dee), Joe Purdy, Lauren Hofstetter (Dan), Carrie Kirby, Missy Jordan (Jim), grandchildren Madeline Hofstetter, Ben Hofstetter, Candace Kirby Baker (Justin), Tyler Kirby (Samantha), Campbell Coorssen, Skyler Jordan, and Grant Coorssen.
She is also survived by her great grandchildren Maesyn Baker, Jentry Baker, Ford Baker and Julia Kirby, as well as her niece Addia Wuchner (Jan).
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jeannine Jude Cartwright.
Trish found joy in gardening, painting landscapes, doting on family dogs, browsing home and garden magazines, and exploring craft fairs. She especially loved the holidays—Christmas most of all—when she would fill her home with festive decorations and thoughtful gifts. Trish was a consummate hostess and was never happier than when she was hosting family and friends.
