Patricia Jean Robinson, born on July 30, 1943, peacefully departed this life on September 14, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, service, and unwavering faith.

Patricia was a devoted Licensed Practical Nurse, dedicating over 20 years of her career to Westminster Healthcare Center. Her compassion and nurturing spirit extended beyond her work, touching the lives of countless individuals and families. She approached each day with the heart of a caregiver, ensuring that those in her care felt valued and comforted.

A proud graduate of New Albany High School, Patricia furthered her education by obtaining an associates degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Her commitment to learning was evident in her passion for teaching Sunday school, a role she cherished deeply. She found great joy in imparting knowledge and values to the next generation, believing that faith provides a strong foundation for life.

Patricia was immensely proud of her church and her faith. She dedicated herself to coordinating fundraisers for the church’s foreign missions and building fund, demonstrating her commitment to serving both her community and her God. Singing church hymns brought her great joy, often filling her home with the uplifting melodies that echoed her devotion.

In her personal life, Patricia found immense happiness in baking and eagerly watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She was the proud mother of three, including George (Diana "Lynn") Robinson, Annette (Ronald) Tolbert, and Kristina (Johnnie) Blissett. Her legacy truly shines through her beloved grandchildren-Ashley (Jonathan), Brittany (Cedric), Ronald Tolbert II, Kaitlin, Jonae’a, and Jocelyn-and her cherished great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Adele, Jordan, Jeremiah, Judah, and Joelle. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and she leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through their lives.

Patricia also leaves behind her beloved siblings: Margaret Croudep, Henry Smith, Cordell (Florence) Smith, Eva (Wilbert) Hunter, Peggy White, Geneva Fields, and Mary Carter, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter James Robinson, whose memory she carried with her always. Her parents, Clinton and Eleanor Smith, as well as siblings James, Walter, and Clinton Smith, Ethel McPheeters, Rena McPheeters, and Barbara Sue Smith.
