Patricia "Patty" Lynn Mouser, a formidable spirit and dedicated matriarch, departed this world on May 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and love that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know her. Born on August 13, 1960, Patty led a life marked by her staunch dedication to both her family and her profession, embodying the essence of hard work and fortitude that defined her character.
Patty was not only a proud aluminum steel mill worker, but she also embraced roles as an auditor, treasurer, and shop steward for the United Steel Workers, Local 106. Her commitment to her work was rivaled only by her unwavering support for her fellow workers, a testament to her deep-rooted belief in community and solidarity. She approached her numerous responsibilities with the same tenacity that characterized all facets of her life, steadfastly advocating for her peers and contributing to the betterment of their workplace.
Completing her education with a high school diploma, Patty sought to develop her skills and serve as an example to her children. Her proudest accomplishments, however, were undeniably her beloved children and grandson, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit and determination. The bond she shared with them radiated warmth and love, showcasing her nurturing nature alongside her fierce independence.
In her leisure, Patty found joy in listening to music, letting the melodies soothe her soul and ignite her passions. Likewise, she embraced the open road, relishing the freedom and exhilaration of riding her Harley. Each ride was a journey that reflected her unyielding spirit and desire to explore life's adventures—traits that endeared her to many.
Patty's strong-willed demeanor and unwavering work ethic inspired those around her, lighting a path for others to follow. As we remember her life, we celebrate not only her professional achievements but also the warmth and love she infused into her family and friendships. Her indelible mark on the hearts of her children and grandson will serve as a lasting reminder of her strength, compassion, and the enduring bonds of family. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Schweiss and Betty Jean Hines; brothers, Bill Schweiss, Doug Schweiss and Davie Schweiss and her sister, Nancy Baxter.
Patty leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Stuart Mouser and Katie Mouser; Grandson, Christian Mouser and brothers John and Mike Schweiss and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
