Patricia Mitchell-Young, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 16, 2015.
Patricia loved God, life, her grandchildren, playing bingo and watching Young and The Restless.
She was born on May 14, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Airlene English. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Verneisha Porter, and sister, DuWanda Carter.
She is survived by her children, Tyesia Mitchell, and D'Andre Mitchell; god-daughter, Gwendolyn Cooksey-Bartee; grandchildren, LaTiana Mitchell, Marnequa Mitchell, BJ Kelly, Camran Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Arriona Hunter, Keianna Smith, and Miracle Starling; siblings, Denise Thomas (DJ), Francine Jaynes, Deborah English-Shaw (Andre), Claudia English; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville), with a celebration of her life to start at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Green Meadows Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes Foundation.
