Patricia Gail Johnson

Patricia Gail "Patty" Johnson, 54, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Patty loved spending her time reading, baking, and being at the beach. Out of all her pastimes, her favorite was spending time laughing with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She was born on July 4, 1966, in New Albany, Indiana, to Rose Mary (Hammond) King and the late Ronald Johnson.

Along with her mother, Patty is survived by her loving children, Eric (Courtney) Spitznagel, Stacy (Luis) Cruz, and Jenny Gillum; stepfather, Nathan King; grandchildren, Alexis, Brenden, Alexis, Casimira, Luis, Yanixa, Anthony, Ariana, Cristian, Alejandra, Luis, Jr., and Martin; great-grandson, Ian; siblings, Donna Lindsey, Lynn Johnson, and John King; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). Visitation will continue on Monday, August 10, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to the family's wishes.
