Patricia E. Ray

Patricia E. Ray age 70, of Louisville, KY went Home to Jesus on February 25, 2015. She was an active member of Southeast Christian Church where she was part of the children's ministry. She retired from Pediatric Cardiologist Associates as a Pediatric Ultrasound Technician. Patricia loved working with children. She loved her family and friends, traveling with them, and excelled at scrapbooking and photography. Patricia had an amazing sense of humor, infectious laugh, zest for life, and love of Small Group Bible Studies in her home. She was a gracious hostess and a witness for her savior Jesus Christ.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert A. Mills and Leila B. Mills.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Bob; son, Bryan Smith (Delana Schutte-Smith); daughter, Julie Ray-Ritchie (Joe Ritchie); grandchildren, Megan Smith, Jacob Schutte, Nathan Schutte, Gannon Ritchie, and Beckett Ritchie; and siblings, Shirley Slayton (Doug) and Kenny Mills (Sharon). She is also survived by a host of family and friends.

Patricia greatly appreciated the staff and doctors of the Pediatric Cardiologist Associates that she worked with for the opportunity of education and the experience with children.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of CBC Group at Baptist Health and also the staff at Westport Place Health Campus.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 1st, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive).
Funeral Service will be at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy) on Monday, March 2nd at 12:00 pm. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy).

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Association.
