Patricia Lee Duggins

Patricia Lee Duggins, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Patricia retired from Jefferson County Public Schools. Before her retirement, she enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, and her cooking shows. Patricia was a very patient and understanding person, but was very strong and firm in her beliefs. She had a loving and caring heart that she portrayed to all those around her. Patricia will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on July 24, 1946 to John and Edna Dwire. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, John Duggins, Brothers, John Dwire, and Richard Dwire.

Patricia is survived by her Daughter, Cheryl (Bobby) Gregory, Son, Brad Duggins, Grandchildren, Megan (Trevor) Smith, and Sarah Gregory, Great-Grandson, Zander Smith, Sister, Judy Bain, Sister-in-Laws, Nancy Dwire, and Theresa Dwire, Best Friend, Regina Whitaker. Patricia also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). Graveside Services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville (4623 Preston Highway)

The family requests that contributions in Patricia's memory be made to Susan B Komen Foundation or Breast Cancer Research.
