Patricia Susanne (Schaaf) Brown

Patricia Susanne "Patty" (Schaaf) Brown, 61, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Patricia enjoyed planting flowers, fishing, and watching butterflies and hummingbirds. Of all the things she enjoyed in life, her favorite was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born on March 22, 1958, in New Albany, Indiana, to Juanita "Letha" (Danner) and the late Norman Schaaf. Along with her father, Patty is preceded in death by her brothers, Edwin and Michael Schaaf.
Along with her mother, Patty is survived by her children, Justin (Sarah Ruff) Brown and Alicia (Jeremy) Duncan; grandchildren, Gunner Duncan, Allison Sorg, Julianne Sorg, John Brown, Tanner Duncan, and Brooke Duncan; siblings, Norman E. Schaaf, Lisa Heselschwerdt, and Maria Donohue.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with cremation to follow. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Patty's memory be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
