Patricia Bell Whitaker

Patricia Bell Whitaker, 61, of Louisville passed away on March 9, 2017. Pat was born in Louisville on September 19, 1955 to the late James and Katie Gant. She enjoyed caring for her family and many of the other children and families in her neighborhood. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by two sisters, Sonia Gant and Lasherryl Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Edward Whitaker; children, Audrey Gant, Felicia Gant (Fred), Catoya Gant (Anthony), Tyra Gant (Javier), and James Stoner; siblings, Tonia Gant-Norwood, John Gant, Lloyd Gant, and Laverne Wilson; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 12:00 pm until time of service.
