Pat Hays

Pat Hays, 83, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Patricia was a Christian Woman. She loved and volunteered at her retirement community in Florida. One of her favorite jobs was having her own restaurant, "Mommas Country Kitchen", where she fed a lot of homeless people. Pat also worked at Halifax Hospital in Daytona, FL where she was in charge of Birth Certificates, where she was in charge of John Travolta's child certificate. She was a hard working and determined individual who raised 7 children and worked full time.

She was born on September 12, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Morgan and Mary Sheehan. She is preceded in death by her husband James C. Hays, parents, sons, Mickey Krages, Chuck Krages, and Tommy Krages, brothers, Louis Martin Sr., Forest Miller, and sister, Sharon Miller.

Patricia is survived by her son, James "Sonny" (Paulette) Krages, daughters, Star (Gene) Newby, Ann Krages-Kasten, and son David (Christi) Krages, son Doug Hays. Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-laws, Kathy Krages, and Debbie Krages, sister-in-law, Carolyn Martin. She is also survived by a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 7:00 pm on Monday, at the Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Private at Bethany Cemetery.
