Pamela Diane Tamme, 65, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
She was born on February 9, 1957 in Newark, New Jersey to Edward and Joan (Betz) Schweitzer. Pam was retired from Commonwealth Bank in Shelbyville. She was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed football, tennis, golf, and the Louisville Cardinals. Pam was an Organ Donor in spirit with the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tamme and mother, Joan Patricia Schweitzer.
Pamela is survived by her father, Edward William Schweitzer Jr.; brothers, Edward William Schweitzer III and Steven Schweitzer (Laura); nieces and nephews, Piper Stallard (Luke), Jordan Schweitzer (Ryan), Lindsey Hartlage (Buck), and Ian Schweitzer (Hannah); as well as several grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Her Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Pamela's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
