Pamela Lynn (Russell) Maggard

Pamela Lynn (Russell) Maggard, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s. She was born on November 2, 1964, in Washington, Indiana.

Pamela is lovingly remembered by her husband, Keith Maggard, whom she loved deeply. She is also survived by her daughter, Megan Stump and her husband Josh; her sons, David Waltz and his wife Christina, Joey Maggard and his wife Jessica, and Brian Maggard; her grandchildren, Tidus Stump, Zoe Stump, Joelle Maggard, Margo Maggard, Anya Able, Ayla Able, Raya Maggard, and Brian Jr.; her sister, Sandy Russell; and her mother, Frances Russell.

Pamela was a hardworking, confident, and strong woman with a deep love for animals, especially her dogs. She was friendly to everyone she met and never met a stranger. She was a thoughtful gift giver who always went out of her way to make others feel special. Her signature smiley faces brought her so much joy and will be remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Russell; her brother, Jackie Russell; and her parents-in-law, Dorris and Beuford Maggard.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service celebrating Pamela's life commencing at 1:00 p.m.
