With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela Sue Keibler. Pam died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, March 31, 2025. Pamela was born on February 12th, 1954 in Lackey, Kentucky to the late Dennis Gibson and Jessie Marie Gibson (Stamper), and grew up in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. After graduating high school, she moved to Louisville where she met and married the love of her life, Paul Keibler (11/26/1948 - 7/6/2024). Pam worked tirelessly at The Cabinet for Human Resources, dedicated to improving services for the disenfranchised and unemployed. Always drawn to the arts, she co-founded BAG44 Custom Designed Handbags, helping create unique one of a kind purses and bags. Pam was a longtime supporter of local small businesses, volunteering her time and services. She was an avid gardener and especially loved spending afternoons on her deck surrounded by her flowers while reading a good book. Her happiest moments were undoubtedly any time spent with family.
Pam is survived by her two children, Justin Ira Keibler and Gretchen Keibler; and her two sisters, Annette Howard and Joyce Gunnell; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 with a celebration of Pam's life to follow at 4pm.
