Pamela Jannette (Willeford) Honaker, 70, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020. Pamela loved scrapbooking, genealogy, reading, and providing support and care to those in need in her community. Of all her pastimes and hobbies, her favorite was loving her grandchildren and attending their school functions.
She was born on June 21, 1949, in Russellville, Kentucky, to the late Hugh and Helen (Bline) Willeford. Along with her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Honaker.
Pamela is survived by her daughters, Traca (David) Gwaltney, Stephanie Sandlin, and Michelle Bobbitt; siblings, Hugh Willeford, Debby (Michael) Shearon, and Cyndi Krauss; grandchildren, Daniel Coltrain, Noah Sandlin, Peyton Gwaltney, and Paige Gwaltney.
Due to the recent health crisis, a private memorial gathering and service will be held for her immediate family at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Cremation was chosen in regards to Pamela's wishes. The family wishes to extend their heart-felt thanks to Pamela's much-loved and appreciated friends and caretakers.
The family requests that contributions in Pamela's memory be made to the J. B. Ogle Animal Shelter-Jeffersonville, Indiana, the Special Olympics of Clark County Indiana, or the Suicide Prevention Foundation.
