Pamela Kay Gibson, fondly known as Pam, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on August 30, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana, she was the the daughter of the late James Tindle and Ula Marcum Tindle.
A proud graduate of Providence High School, she further pursued her education by attaining a Master’s Degree in Nursing from IU Southeast, exemplifying her devotion to learning and professional excellence. Pam's dedication to the field of nursing spanned over four decades, including over 25 years at Clark Memorial Hospital, where she served as director of the medical surgical department, during which she touched countless lives with her compassionate care and unwavering commitment to her profession.
Pam was known for her love of sports. She passionately followed her favorite teams, including the Indiana Hoosiers, the Indianapolis Colts, and the North Harrison Cougar teams. Beyond athletics, she held a special place in her heart for German Shepherds, who were often her loyal companions. When she wasn’t cheering for her teams or enjoying the company of her dogs, Pam found joy in savoring a good cup of coffee or watching one of her favorite Hallmark movies.
Above all, Pam was a devoted mother and grandmother. She took immense pride in her family, including her daughter, Jaymie (Jason) Feathers; and her three grandchildren, Makenna, Harrison, and Grant. Her love for them was evident in everything she did, leaving behind a legacy of affection that will endure in their hearts.
Pam was preceded in death by her loving husband, James "Tom" Gibson, whose memory she cherished deeply.
