Orville Alonzo Turner, Jr., 85, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday evening, April 22, 2016 at New Albany Nursing and Rehab. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War. Orville enjoyed cars and camping in his younger years.
He was born on July 21, 1930 in New Albany to the late Orville, Sr. and Blanche (Brim) Turner. Orville was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma "Billie" Turner. He is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Lemmon, David Turner, Judy Bailey (Bill); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Service taking place at 12 PM. Entombment will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Orville's memory be made to the charity of donor's choice.
