Ortis Krause

Ortis David "Dave" Krause, 56, of Memphis Indiana, passed away on February 6, 2016. He was born on January 23, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Kenneth and Patricia (Weaver) Krause. Dave was a member at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church in Sellersburg, Indiana. He worked as a parts manager for Bumper and Bumper auto parts for many years. Dave enjoyed watching sports, and loved hosting Derby parties.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Petra Krause, sister, Kathleen Krause. He is survived by his loving children, Nikki Davis (Rob), Heidi Ward (Craig), Robby Ward (Erica); siblings, Patty Catoire (Joe), Kenny Krause (Judy), Perry Krause (Pam); grandson, Tanner, 7 nieces, 3 nephews, brother-in-law, Steve Sonner (Heather), mother-in-law, Lore McIntyre (Jim), along with a host of other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, from 12p.m. to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) His service will be on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11a.m. at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Church ( 2605 St. Joe Road, Sellersburg, Indiana with burial to follow at St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery.
