Ora Lee Ralph, Sr., 84, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on August 19, 2016, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Whitesville, Kentucky, on March 21, 1932, to William and Melinda Ralph. Ora retired from General Electric after many years of service. He was a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a very talented musician. Ora enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, Ora was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia G. Ralph; and a son, Paul J. Ralph. He is survived by his loving children, Bevanna Ralph, Donna Hill (Ray), and Lee Ralph, Jr. (Michele); his twin sister, Dodie Harmon; 11 grandchildren, Kirstie Clarke (Pat), Jenny Sanders (Michael), Kyle Friedel, Katie Carfield (Andrew), Brad Hill, Sadie Ralph, Damian Ralph (Emily), James Fuller, Brandon Hill, Brenden Hill, and Caleb Ralph; and 5 great-grandchildren.
His visitation will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Service will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation before from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany, Indiana.
