Opal Elizabeth Roller, age 93, passed away at Signature East Nursing Home (Jeffersontown, KY) on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was born in Bradfordsville, KY to the late Earl Thomas and Stella Hall. For 50 years she dedicated her life to studying and to teaching other the bible.
Opal was the wife of James Raymond Roller (Bradfordsville) for 45 years and "Mammaw" to many. She was a member of the Jeffersontown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and previously the Middletown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers Charles Hall and Glen Hall; sisters Jacqueline Wright, Geneva Wright, Lois Hall; and grandchildren Kimberly and Marty Roller.
Left to cherish her memories are 4 children: Jerry W. Roller (Denise), James C. Roller (Shelia), Larry D. Roller (Pam), and Jeanne S. Jones (Blair); 12 grandchildren,; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a sister, Maggie Larimore, and a brother, John L. Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
Newcomer Cremations, Funeral and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive) will be entrusted with her funeral arrangements. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, no indoor services are planned. Rather, a Zoom Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm.
