Onnie Virginiamae Mcclain

Onnie Virginia Mae McClain,82, of Corydon, Indiana, orginally from Clarkson, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019.

She was born on December 10, 1936 in Taylorsville, Kentucky to Owen and Pearl Jewell Redmon. Virginia was a member of The Church of God of Lietchfield, KY. She also was an active member in the T.O.P.S program at her church. Virginia enjoyed meeting up with other widowers at the McDonalds at the Litchfield Walmart for many years and her weekly visits to Frisch's in Corydon.

She is preceded in death by her Husband of 54 years, Ben Frank McClain, Son, Frank McClain and her Parents.

Virginia is survived by her Daughter, Kathy (Louis) Wilcox, Daughter-in-law, Kathy Ann McClain, Sister, Josephine Chesser, Brother, Leon (Elaine) Redmon, Sister, Coraphine Rogers, Grandchildren, Sharlena (Richard) Logsdon , Shelby (Christina) Wilcox, Kayla (Michael) Scott, Bobby (Sara) McClain, Jason Epperson, Carrie Sullivan, Brian Carpenter, and Richard Carpenter, Jr., 22 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
