Oneita Ludene "Lulu" Jones, 89, passed away on December 2, 2017. She retired from Norton Hospital. Oneita enjoyed watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Kasey Kahne race to the finish line.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Veechal and Odessa Hale; brother, Bernard Hale and sister, Arlene Hockenberry.
Oneita is survived by her daughter, Diana (Steve) Thornbury; grandchildren, Jonathan Kraig and Nicholas Kraig; sister, Lorene Keown and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Receptions & Funerals, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 1pm-6pm with a celebration of Oneita's life beginning at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis, 1201 Story Avenue, Suite 200, Louisville, KY 40206.
