Olivia Joan (Stromire) Whitt, 81, formerly of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
Joan was born on June 2, 1930 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William Dewey & Alice Rachel (Polen) Stromire.
She is survived by her children, Ruthanne Goodman, John Whitt, Alice Murphy, and their spouses; sister, Margaret Schroeder; grandchildren, Whitney, Aaron, Alyssa, & Jack.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville.
