Oliver Louis "Louie" Hornback , Jr., 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Louie was born on June 20, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to Oliver and Dessie Hornback. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Rita Hornback.
Louie is survived by his sons, Scott Hornback (Eileen), Jeff Hornback, Jay Hornback, and Tony Hornback (Jill), grandchildren, Zack, Dylan, Kyle, Logan, Haley, Houston, Joel, Aiden, and Chelsea. He was the oldest of 8 children and is survived by Kanetta Comly, Janet Palumbo, and Ben Hornback.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:00 pm, with his Service to follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2021 at Southeast Christian Church Chapel In The Woods (1407 Moser Rd. Louisville, KY 40299) with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Louie's memory be made to Robley Rex Veterans Administration Medical Center.
